We offer Free Shipping on orders over $100 shipped within the contiguous United States.

The Collection, Processing, and use of Personal Data

Personal data is all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, such as name, date of birth, bank details. Generally, we collect information that may personally identify you when you voluntarily:

place an order,
enter a contest or sweepstakes,
respond to a survey or communication such as e-mail, or
engage with another Website feature.

Billing and Credit Card Information

In addition, our services comprise, generally, fashion retail and wholesale services. In order to enable payment by you to fulfill your orders, we may collect name, address, telephone number, email address, credit card information, and other billing information. This information will only be shared with third parties who facilitate completion of the purchase transaction, such as by fulfilling orders and processing credit card payments.

We will not disclose your billing and/or credit card information with other third parties unless required by law or a court order, or unless disclosure is required to address an issue implicated by the financial transaction. For instance, if you claim that your billing and/or credit card information was used to make a purchase you did not authorize, details about the transaction may be disclosed to law enforcement and any party we deem necessary to address the matter.

All sensitive/credit information you supply is transmitted via Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology and then encrypted into our databases to be only accessed as stated above.

We may contact you via email, telephone, text, paper mail, or other delivery methods regarding the status and/or delivery of any products or services that you may have purchased through this Website. We may also contact you regarding any events, sales promotions and special offers.

Returns & Exchanges for Purchases

All merchandise returns must be unworn, unwashed, and still, have the original tags attached.  Please note that Party Wear, Special Occasion Wear (including dresses) cannot be exchanged or returned.  At this time Sophia’s Things does not offer REFUNDS or EXCHANGES, we are unable to accommodate exchanges by mail. We will issue you a store credit via an E-Gift Card once we’ve received your return. That way, you may use the E-Gift Card towards the purchase of another item. E-Gift Cards do not expire.

Damaged Items

If you could kindly print and fill out this form, and return it along with the damaged item, we will issue you store credit in the form of an E-Gift Card and you can repurchase the item if desired. We strongly suggest including a tracking number with your package, as we are not liable for packages that get lost in transit.

Once we receive your package, we will email you an E-Gift Card in the amount of your item, plus the cost of the shipping return (up to $10.00 USD provided you also include a copy of the receipt itemizing the return shipping cost).

Return by Mail

Please print and fill out our return slip (click HERE to download a copy) or include your original packing slip with the item(s) being returned. Kindly note that without including your order number on the returns slip or with your returned item(s) there may be a delay in processing your return.

PLEASE ALLOW 5-7 BUSINESS DAYS FOR RETURNS TO BE PROCESSED AND THE NECESSARY CREDITS APPLIED.

Pack your item(s) securely in the original product packaging, if possible. All items must be returned in original condition (including all paperwork, packaging, and accessories) with tags attached. All items must be unworn, unaltered and unwashed. We do not accept returns on bodysuits, bodysuit dresses, swimwear, undergarments, or final sale items (those items ending in $.96, $.97, or $.98).

Reserved Rights Regarding Returns

Sophia’s Things reserves the right to solely define and limit, refuse, and/or reject returns from customers at any time due to:

  • An irregular or excessive returns history indicative of “wardrobing;”
  • An irregular or excessive returns history involving worn, altered, laundered, damaged, or missing items; or,
  • Potential fraudulent or criminal activity.

Similarly, Sophia’s Things reserves the right to refuse service to any customer or entity, due to similar actions as noted above.

Non-Sophia’s Things items sent to our distribution center will be discarded upon receipt.

 

All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We do not accept COD deliveries; they will be rejected. We recommend sending your return via USPS Flat Rate with a tracking number and insurance, as we are not responsible for lost or stolen packages.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. If you refuse any shipments from sophiasthings.com, you will be held responsible for the original shipping charges, plus the cost of returning the package to us. This amount will be deducted from any credit issued.

We will ship to PO Boxes via USPS. However, expedited shipping is not available to a PO Box.

If your tracking information states that your package was delivered and you have not received it. You must contact the delivery carrier (either the United States Postal Service or FedEx – depending on the shipping method selected) and address the issue directly with them.  Sophia’s Things does not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been stated as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.

Just a reminder that you will receive your order 1-13 business days from the date that it is shipped out, not necessarily from the date that it is placed, depending on the shipping method selected and final destination of the order.   After your payment is authorized and verified, it can still take 24-48 hours to process your order. This is just an estimate, and doesn’t include weekends or holidays.  When your order has been shipped, you will receive am email with tracking information.
